Director and Founder
Dustin is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance. He has a passion for complex financing arrangements and is top in his field when it comes to bringing together the goals and strategy of companies and individuals, and arranging custom financing, both debt and equity, tailored to clients' needs.
Prior to founding Tailwind, Dustin worked in corporate banking for over a decade. He worked with businesses on a wide range of deals often exceeding US$1 billion per transaction.
As Tailwind grows, he delivers consultative and progressive financing practices that allow our clients to engage in exclusive investment opportunities or develop exceptional projects.
Dustin is passionate about people and business transformation, always ensuring clients, projects holders, and partners accelerate their ambitions.
In his spare time, you can find him spinning away on his Peloton, golfing or spending quality time with family and friends.
JS de Jager
JS has a broad professional and commercial accounting background, having worked as an accounting and corporate governance professional in both general practice and industry in South Africa from 2002 to 2007 and in the Cayman Islands with Cayman Management since 2007.
JS is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, and the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association of Cayman, in recent years sitting also as an Executive Committee member of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman, the representative body for the Cayman Islands captive insurance industry.
His outside interests include golf, tennis, cricket, and rugby, being a past member of the Cayman Islands National Rugby team, and he is actively involved in a number of local charitable organizations and other non-profit research organizations.

Kaushal is an experienced investment banking professional with a demonstrated track record of working in financial services and the investment industry.
Over the course of his tenor, he has raised and managed debt capital of over 2 billion USD, driven the acquisition of companies/assets of over 1 billion USD, and provided a credit rating to debt of over USD 10 billion.
Before joining Tailwind, Kaushal standardized the corporate finance functions and led the investment analysis and decision role for KBBO CPG Group and Lulu Financial Group in the Middle East. He also held lead analyst roles at CRIF GULF (Dun & Bradstreet UAE) and Care Ratings, India.
In his early years, Kaushal was playing professional cricket. He also won several national-level robotic competitions. Nowadays, in his free time, Kaushal likes to quench his Wanderlust.

Associate, Corporate Finance
Abhishek is a Corporate Finance Associate at Tailwind. Abhishek’s principal role is analyzing and structuring corporate and project finance deals. His roles also include valuing companies for acquisition and investment analysis.
Formerly, Abhishek worked as Manager of Audit and Finance as a Chartered Accountant, where he was responsible for conducting statutory & internal audits of large corporates and helping companies raise finance by preparing credit reports.
Abhishek is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi.
When he is not crunching numbers, Abhishek is a foodie who loves traveling and trying new adventure sports.
Tim is a highly experienced financial professional with a career spanning over twenty years.
As a Director at Royal Bank of Scotland within their Corporate Structured Finance team in London he was responsible for executing their largest and most complex funding transactions often exceeding £1bn. Tim is equally passionate and qualified at supporting businesses of all sizes from entrepreneur start-ups, small and medium sized businesses, along with large corporates in all manner of capital raising requirements. Tim is forward-thinking in his approach and works with clients to provide tailored funding solutions to achieve their organisational aspirations.
Having supported the charity sector with fundraising Tim is understanding of investor demands for social impact requirements alongside financial returns.

Mia is responsible for all things marketing and branding at Tailwind. Before joining Tailwind, Mia gathered over 15 years of extensive experience in helping public administrations, politicians, small and medium-sized companies realize their potential through marketing communications in several countries.
Mia also assisted and advised UHNWIs in a diversity of clerical and financial duties. Her people skills, her ability to advise, and her creativity are key assets to guide and support our clients.
