Dustin Springett
Director and Founder
Dustin is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance. He has a passion for complex financing arrangements and is top in his field when it comes to bringing together the goals and strategy of companies and individuals, and arranging custom financing, both debt and equity, tailored to clients' needs. Prior to founding Tailwind, Dustin worked in corporate banking for over a decade. He worked with businesses on a wide range of deals often exceeding US$1 billion per transaction. As Tailwind grows, he delivers consultative and progressive financing practices that allow our clients to engage in exclusive investment opportunities or develop exceptional projects. Dustin is passionate about people and business transformation, always ensuring clients, projects holders, and partners accelerate their ambitions. In his spare time, you can find him spinning away on his Peloton, golfing or spending quality time with family and friends.
Kaushal Vaidya
Vice President
Kaushal is an experienced investment banking professional with a demonstrated track record of working in financial services and the investment industry. Over the course of his tenor, he has raised and managed debt capital of over 2 billion USD, driven the acquisition of companies/assets of over 1 billion USD, and provided a credit rating to debt of over USD 10 billion. Before joining Tailwind, Kaushal standardized the corporate finance functions and led the investment analysis and decision role for KBBO CPG Group and Lulu Financial Group in the Middle East. He also held lead analyst roles at CRIF GULF (Dun & Bradstreet UAE) and Care Ratings, India. In his early years, Kaushal was playing professional cricket. He also won several national-level robotic competitions. Nowadays, in his free time, Kaushal likes to quench his Wanderlust.
Kate Springett
Manager, Investor Relations & Marketing
Kate Springett is a professional with over 7 years of experience across operations, compliance, sales, and marketing. As Manager at Tailwind Ltd., she oversees day-to-day operations and ensures seamless execution across departments. She holds an Advanced BA in Psychology from the University of Manitoba, equipping her with strong research, analysis, and communication skills that support her role in investor relations and compliance. In 2025, Kate completed AML/CFT/CPF/TFS training specific to the Cayman Islands regulatory framework. Outside of work, she volunteers with K9 Advocates Manitoba, fostering rescue dogs and supporting fundraising efforts. She enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors.
Keith Nicholson
Independent Director
With over 15 years of experience in fund administration and corporate accounting, Keith brings a deep operational and strategic understanding of financial services to Tailwind. Having held senior roles at leading firms such as Rawlinson & Hunter, UBS, and HedgeServ, he has led teams across fund services, private wealth, and financial reporting.
Manpreet Singh
Director, Business Development (Middle East)
Manpreet is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has developed valuable relationships with key Family Groups, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Private Equity firms. Prior to joining Tailwind, Manpreet spent 16 years at Aranca, a leading Indian Research & Advisory firm. During his tenure, he spent eight years providing business valuation services and the latter eight years focused on selling consulting services in the region. Manpreet completed a two-year Master’s program in Finance from Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia before starting his professional career. In his personal life, Manpreet enjoys making equity investments and draws inspiration from the teachings of Warren Buffet. His favorite quote from Buffet is "Cash combined with courage in a time of crisis is priceless."
